Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what information Roof & Claim Advisor ("we," "us") collects from homeowners, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email us at info@roofandclaim.com and we'll answer.

What we collect

When you use our roof assessment or request contractor bids, we collect the information you give us:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your property address
• Details about your roof — such as size, age, material, and the type of damage
• Photos you upload of your roof or the repair you need

We use this information to prepare your assessment, to create your account so you can track your requests, and to match you with contractors when you ask us to.

How we share your information

We are a matching service. When you ask us to, we share your information with verified, licensed local roofing professionals so they can prepare a bid for your project.

For any one project, your request goes to a limited number of contractors — a maximum of five. Contractors receive your details so they can reach you about the project you asked for; they do not receive your information for unrelated marketing.

Cookies and site analytics

We measure how the site is used so we can tell which parts of it work. Two things do that, and neither of them collects anything personal.

• Our own site measurement. Your browser generates a random ID for itself and stores it on your device. We use it to count how many people visit and how far they get through the assessment, estimate, or repair form — so we can see where people give up and fix it. The ID is a random string. It is not tied to your name, email, phone number, or address, even if you later create an account, and we cannot use it to identify you. We record which page you were on, the general type of device (phone, tablet, or computer), and the website or ad that sent you — the site's name only, never what you searched for.
• Google Ads conversion measurement. We run ads, and Google's tag tells us when an ad led to someone requesting an assessment or a bid. That tag is Google's, it sets its own cookies, and it is governed by Google's privacy policy.

We do not build a personal profile of you from either one, and we do not sell our site-measurement data or pass it to anyone else. What Google does with the data its own tag collects is covered by Google's policy, linked above.

If you'd rather not be counted: clearing this site's data in your browser erases the random ID (a new one is generated if you come back). Browsing in a private or incognito window, or blocking cookies for this site, keeps it from being stored at all — the site works normally either way. You can turn off ad personalization in your Google account settings.

Your choices and how to delete your information

You're in control of your information:

• Access or correct it — log in to your account any time to review your requests, or email us and we'll help.
• Clear the site measurement ID — clear this site's data in your browser, as described above. Because that ID isn't linked to you, we can't look it up or remove it on your behalf.
• Delete it — you can ask us to delete your personal information at any time. Email info@roofandclaim.com from the address on your account (or tell us the address you used), and we'll delete your information from our systems. Note that a contractor you've already been matched with keeps their own copy of what you shared directly with them; we can't delete records held by an independent contractor, but we'll tell you who received your information so you can contact them.
